Individual Mental Health Counseling

Individual counseling provides a personalized space to uncover and address challenges unique to your life. Clients often reach out to me for individual counseling for the first time because they’re experiencing symptoms of trauma, stress, loss, sadness, guilt, anxiety, loneliness, and/or depression. Other clients reach out not necessarily knowing what they need, but wanting one-on-one support on their journey to leading a better, more fulfilling life.

You may have hopes or dreams that sometimes feel impossible to achieve. Perhaps you’re facing an unprecedented change. Maybe you struggle with the memories of a past experience. Or maybe you’re looking to work with a provider who, like you, has had to navigate structural inequity while holding multiple, intersecting, marginalized identities.

No matter the reason, I provide a safe, confidential, judgement-free space for you to be whoever you want to be. I reject the notion of a one-size-fits all solutions. My style is adaptive which means our sessions will be specially tailored to you based on your unique preferences. Whether you're dealing with challenges like depression, anxiety, or confronting systemic issues like homophobia and patriarchy, you’ll find yourself in the driver’s seat with a knowledgeable and experienced professional by your side. We’ll look at your strengths and find pathways to wherever you want to go. We’ll move at your pace. We’ll respect and listen to your body’s needs. I’ll offer specialized support, guidance, and care all along the way.

I am passionate about working with people from all walks of life. I have extensive experience working with second and first generation immigrants, survivors of sexual violence, the LGBTQ+ community, the kink/BDSM community, individuals with complex relationships with faith & faith practices, and anyone grappling with power dynamics.
